This Privacy Policy explains what information Jeremy Osgood Photography collects when you visit jeremyosgoodphotography.com (the “Site”), how it is used, and the choices you have. Jeremy Osgood Photography is a sole proprietorship owned by Jeremy Osgood in Brentwood, Tennessee. When this policy says “I,” “me,” or “my,” it means Jeremy Osgood Photography.
The short version: I only collect what I need to answer your questions and fill your print orders. I never sell or rent your information, and I don’t send marketing email from this Site.
Information I Collect
Information you give me
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the type of service you’re asking about, and your message.
- Print orders: when you buy a print, you pay through PayPal. PayPal shares your name, email address, shipping address, and the print you ordered with me so I can fill the order. I never see or store your card or bank details.
- Emails you send me: anything you include when you write to jeremy@owlgossip.com.
- Blog comments: if comments are open and you leave one, your name, email, website (optional), comment, and IP address.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics: I use Google Analytics (through Google Site Kit) to understand how people find and use the Site. It collects things like pages viewed, time on page, general location (city or region), device and browser type, and how you arrived. It does not tell me who you are.
- Security logs: my security tools (Wordfence) and web host (Hostinger) log IP addresses and basic request details to block attacks and spam.

How I Use Your Information
- To reply to your questions and requests
- To fill, ship, and support your print orders
- To handle licensing and permission requests
- To keep the Site secure and working
- To understand which photos and pages people enjoy so I can improve the Site
- To keep records required for taxes and accounting
I do not use your information for automated decisions or profiling, and I don’t add you to any mailing list from this Site.
Who I Share It With
I share information only with the services that help me run the Site and fill orders:
- PayPal processes payments under its own privacy statement.
- Bay Photo Lab and other professional print labs receive your name and shipping address to make and ship your print.
- Shipping carriers (such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx) receive what they need to deliver your order.
- Google provides analytics.
- Hostinger (web hosting), Wordfence (security), and Akismet (spam filtering for comments) process data to keep the Site running and safe.
I may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect my rights, my customers, or the public. I never sell or rent personal information.

The Site links to places I don’t control, and each has its own privacy policy:

How Long I Keep It
I keep contact messages as long as needed to help you, and order records as long as required for taxes and accounting (generally up to seven years). Analytics data is kept according to Google Analytics retention settings.
How I Protect It
The Site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), security monitoring, and trusted payment processing. No website can promise perfect security, but I work to keep your information safe.
Your Choices
- See, correct, or delete your information: email jeremy@owlgossip.com and I’ll help. I may need to keep some order records for legal reasons.
- Analytics: you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
- Cookies: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Depending on your state, you may have additional privacy rights. I’ll honor any valid request that applies to you.
Children’s Privacy
This Site is meant for adults and is not directed to children under 13. I don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent me information, please contact me and I’ll delete it.
Changes to This Policy
If I update this policy, I’ll change the date at the top of this page.
