Tennis and basketball players get ready to elevate your game this summer. The courts will be raised about 6 inches and slightly graded to shed water. Apparently, court 4 of the tennis courts had issues trapping water so the grade will be corrected to shed toward Back Bay.
As a child, we would play basketball on those old courts for hours, run for a Louis sub and gatorade, and go back for hours more. The little peepers in the run-off canal would chime in late into the night until the light timer went off around 10pm. Hmm… No wonder no one lives in those houses anymore.
