It looked like superman flight school yesterday against Lee Prep. JaKarr Sampson elevating for the backside alley-oop. He had one-hander during the last home game that appeared untouchable off the top right corner of the backboard. You gotta be kidding right…high school players in Wolfeboro, NH? This team is no joke. It's unbelievable we have this kind of talent congregated in a small town in northern New England. Undefeated so far this season at a record of 24-0, they were the 2010 National Prep School Champions. Five of the 2011 class are headed to the top division I schools in the country: Durand Johnson, Pittsburgh;Naadir Tharpe, Kansas; Max Hooper, Harvard; Markus Kennedy, Villanova and an impressive line-up of uncommitted players and up-and-coming. If you have someone remotely interested in basketball in your life, you'll want to go check out a game this friday against New Hampton 6pm at the Smith Center, Brewster Academy campus. They had a close contest with New Hampton earlier this season and it will be nice to see the young men have to put up some tough defence. The Admission is free and basketball is as good as it gets at this level. The JV game starts at 4pm and Varsity 6PM Here is the Website.
