Abenaki Tower, Tuftonboro

I was a little early in getting to the tower for this sunset photo.   Everything was damp from the later afternoon showers and thankfully matted down the pollen that was floating in the air like snowflakes.    The early spring colors are dissipating into a rich green… everything is vivid and new still.  A low fog was hovering over some of the islands and you could hear the loons calling.  It would have been easy to linger but the cough drops were calling too.
