Merganser- All Systems Launch!

This little Merganser had an inspiring start time from water to launch.  No doubt a skill adapted and perfected over many generations.  I really enjoy this photo because the burst of speed and power is so intense and split second that the first splashes are still visible as it begins flight.  Ok, Ok.
