Back Bay, Lower Dam

 
Photo from the lower dam on back bay today.  The combination of a few rainy days and the spring run-off has millions of gallons of water cascading over the dam.  You can see it here pounding the side of the old excelsior mill pump house.   Soon the salmon will be coming  to spawn and feed on whatever bounty the river turns up.
