Sewall Cottage Jacked Up

A jacked-up cottage on Sewall Rd.    I wanted to make reference to this stylish cottage being lifted off its piers to allow the flood waters to recede but that would be too easy.    Even the eternal optimist would have to admit the last two days have been dreary.   I noticed this seasonal home being raised with a crane last week while running past Sewall Point on the broads-side, and it was still up today as the concrete cures.  I recall seeing an old photo of a home being pulled across lake Winnipesaukee in winter by oxen that I will find and post in the near future.
