Whitten Farm
The distant sirens were as continuous and steady as the snowfall today, yet this beautiful horse is un-fazed.  As a matter of fact, it had just paused from scratching its nose on a nearby branch to give me a gander.

In Tuftonboro today there was a fortunate woman riding in a lime green VW Bug that hit and snapped a telephone pole in half on route 109.  How is that fortunate?  The  better part of the pole was suspended mid-air over her windshield held only by the lines.
